A well-executed Red Team engagement will accomplish each of the following objectives:

• Provide a realistic taste of the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by real-world threats against external and internal infrastructure.
• Identify missing or weak security controls, vulnerable systems, and blind spots in the organization’s detection capabilities.
• Provide realistic practice for the organization’s cybersecurity staff (Blue Team).
